Love how casually Tyler brings up Caroline’s blood urges, how he’s not put off by it at all.
Love how he scoffs at the idea of Matt rejecting her.
Love how they’re totally falling for each other and don’t even know it.
Love the foreshadowing and subtext of Caroline lying to Tyler, too.
Love that Tyler thinks Caroline’s mom will be 100% OK with knowing she’s a vampire.
Love that Tyler just assumes vampires work the same way as werewolves.
AND MORE THAN ANYTHING: I love how comfortable Caroline is in this scene. See how she’s not watching what she says? See how she’s not worrying about how Tyler might snap at her, or judge her, or belittle her, or criticize her for being too neurotic, or insecure, or an annoying waste of time? See how she INSTINCTIVELY KNOWS that he’ll get it, that he’ll get HER, that she can talk out all her worries with him and he will just UNDERSTAND, and SUPPORT HER.
She’s so RELAXED, and comfortable WITH HERSELF when she’s with Tyler, in a way she isn’t around ANYONE else.
